AEV Rear Track Bar Issue - Help Needed

Hi all -

Currently in the middle of installing the AEV 2.5" lift on my 2015 JKR. Got the new rear track bar tower installed, but cannot seem to get the new rear track bar to fit into the bracket. It is almost as if the bracket is not wide enough to fit the new track bar. Has anyone experienced this before? Should I try to bend the bracket to fit the track bar?

Thanks!

I just installed this lift on my Jeep and ran into the same thing. Just use a prybar and open the bracket up enough to get the trackbar in. Wasn't a big deal for me.

I did this install a few months ago. I didn't have to bend, but I remember having to loosen the lower tower bolt and clamp nuts to make it easier to manuver in. Then for the upper, I had to put it back on the ground with some weight on the wheels in order to line the bolt up.

Ended up bending the bracket slightly. The rest of the install went smoothly until I went to install the two brackets and dropped the UCA bolt in the frame. Got frustrated and gave up for the day lol

Been there too... I did the same thing on the driver side when installing the AEV drop brackets. Get a retractable magnet and work on your fishing skills. I got it out.
