Aftermarket Radio Steering Wheel Controls - QUICK QUESTION/HELP NEEDED

Hey guys.
Soooo....I bought the new Pioneer 4100nex. And I also have the RP4-CH11.
Do I also need the Maestro RR?? Or does the RP4-CH11 do what the Maestro does? The Masetro is like $150 asnd the RP4 was like $30....so Im thinking I need both. Im sooooo confused.
Thanks!

This would be good information to know for me as well. I just picked up my Rubicon and first mod is replacing the 130 radio with a Pioneer 7000NEX with all the Crutchfield recommended wiring interfaces, so hopefully I dont have any surprises.

My guess only - yes, you would need the Maestro to do what you need, but more research/answers are required before following my blind lead.

Both adapters are not needed...it's one or the other. The iDatalink Maestro not only retains the steering wheel controls, but the factory UConnect system. If you aren't too concerned about UConnect, go with the PAC RP4-CH11. I have the Pioneer 7000NEX installed in my Jeep and used this very adapter because I found the UConnect system to be mediocre at best and the PAC RP4-CH411 will retain the steering wheel controls as well.
