Another lift question - please critique build plan.

2014 JKUR here. Nearing the end of my tire's life and ready to go up. I had always bought pre-lifted cj's, yj's and tj's, only to have to go through and re-do everything. So I want to do this right. My ultimate goal is 35's, daily driver with some moderate trails, but down the road maybe harder trails when jeep is no longer a daily.

I am on the fence between going with the metalcloak game changer rocksport edition. I like the fact that it has everything and puts all angles where they need to be. Is there anything else needed with this system? I don't want to go too high, so if I do 2.5 can change out the springs down the road if I want to go higher?

Or do I go Rock Krawler flex and add rear upper arms to get the rear axle back in place?

With the metalcloak, am I ok with Quadratec's Hard Rock (come on quadratec - I don't want to go with spacers) wheel backspacing with 35's?

How long should I give myself to do the driveway install? Both seem relatively bolt on, so just a matter of hoping 4 years of road salt hasn't corroded too much shut.

I can't really answer anything except that the last update from Rick was that the Hard Rocks will be out of stock until at least early next year.

With wanting to run 35s we recommend running a 4.5" backspace on the wheel. It looks like those wheels will be 4.75", which should work for you!

With 5.2" We would recommend a spacer or a wheel with less backspace. With that backspace you risk not only rubbing, but because you are a Rubicon and leave your sway bar links hooked up, you can stuff a tire right into the sway bar link and possibly puncture the sidewall.

The only real thing you need extra with the kit you are looking at is exhaust spacers. And yes if later you decide to go higher all you need to do is add new springs and adjust your suspension.

FYI: I still over 2.5 inches lift front and rear and I am about as heavy as a 2 door can get.

Very happy with the quality of my MC stuff I run the rocksport game changer. I don't think you'd be sad with the RK kit either though.
