Good afternoon everyone,

I'm in a bit of a pickle.
Last night on the way out to go fishing, I charged in to a "puddle".
Subsequently, the ABS system lit up as "puddle" pulled me in toward the curb.
The motor continued to run for remainder of the block until it stumbled to a cut off.

As I began to freak out I attempted to turn it over, no luck.
I got out and checked the air filter immediately, bone dry.
Checked the fuse box, bone dry.
Checked various fuses within the box, all seemed intact. [Some I could not verify due to their covers]

Some guys pulled over and helped me troubleshoot,
pulled a spark plug to see if the motor had anything in it, nothing.
Checked spark from the wire by grounding it out on the manifold, sparks good.

Got a tow home and pulled all the plugs to check for any water in the additional cylinders, none whatsoever.

I am now thinking the issue is fuel related as the motor cranks, but does not turn due to bad fuel

OR

A critical fuse or safety feature is preventing the motor from firing due to the ABS/Traction light action from the event itself.

-Sigh. What a mouth-full- (that's what she said)

I really need some help on this guys. This is my first post, unfortunately, but I'm hoping someone has some insight or has had a similar issue. I need this submarine vehicle to live!!! I have a job interview Wednesday!!

Thank you for the welcome Mr. Dogger.

That was my original suspicion JTPhoto JK, I purchased one only to find no codes present. A bit daunting I might add.

The water was approximately two feet deep on the passenger side of the road. Which led me to the possibility of a twisted or compressed or disconnected fuel line as the line itself is elastic and composed of plastic at the connections.

Solved: The pressure from the water splashing into the floor pans caused the fuel line to literally kink thus cutting fuel pressure and the ignition process. She fired right up, purring again.
