Audio box and recline kit, seat won’t lock

Hey all, I just had an audio box put in the cargo area and I installed the recline kit and my rear seat will no longer lock in place. I’ll post the video my sister took as I’m out of country and would appreciate your thoughts on a fix.

When you install the rear seat recline kit the point is to move the top of the rear seat back toward the tailgaite by about 2". This is the recline that the recline kit gives you. However, the way the audio box is installed is that it keeps the seat back from moving backwards into the lock position. Is the speaker only on one side? If it is the other side of the seat back should lock in about 2" further back than the one hitting the speaker enclosure.

You have two options.

1. Move the speaker enclosure backwards by removing it, locking the seat back in position and then reinstalling the speaker box.
2. Remove the recline kit.

Thanks, audio box is only on the one side.

Pretty irritated that the audio guys let it get out the door like that. Had someone lammed on the brakes, my kids might have been hurt had my sister not caught the issue.
