Angry auto transmission computer

G'day from Oz,
I really need help folks! I have a 2009 Wrangler sport unlimited JK model,
It is constantly in top gear, has had a full tranny service, and the computer has been reset 3 times, to no avail! I would like to replace the tranny computer, but i don't know if i can use another year or model computer.

Sorry folks cash is a bit tight, and i've given up on the so called experts here!

HELP

What has a transmission shop said? They should have a super expensive Snap-On scanner that should tell more. Hate to see you throw money at it and that not be the problem.

I dont know squat about the 07-11 auto's, they are very different from the 12+. Id try to get one from your exact year model.

I don't see how throwing parts at it is going to solve the problem. A JK transmission, especially, has to be professionally diagnosed. If you had a dealer look at it, you might get a better result from a private trans. shop.

this, you never want to have a dealership mess with a transmission unless it is under warranty.
