Automatic Transmission Hard Shift

Dropped 2015 JK off at dealership for popping noise in drive train about 5-8,000 miles ago. Was told my D-Rings on my bumper was making the noise. My D-Rings have rubber isolators on them. Now I have a hard shift and downshift from 1st to 2nd gear. I have 80K miles on my Jeep and from my understanding the 2015 has a 100k mile power train warranty. Why does the dealership not believe me about my transmission? Do they not want to pull it out and rebuild or replace? I’m scared it’s going to pop right after my warranty is up. Fluid is clean and good. Any suggestions?
