Back spacing help needed.

Hello everyone,

Here's the situation. I am looking into buying a 4 inch zone lift kit for my 2014 Wrangler Unlimited. The problem is that it says that I cannot use my factory wheels because a 4.5 backspacing is needed. I really did not plan on buying new wheels so does anybody know if there is any kind of workaround to get around that to be able to use my factory wheels. Will wheel spacers work?

Thanks

Spidertrax seem to be the most popular. From what I've read a ton of people run them with no problems. Just make sure they are torqued to manufacturer specs and recheck torque every so often

Will spidertrax allow me to use the factory 18" wheels with my 4" lift kit?

35's on stock wheels with spacers. Not spiderex, but the ones my local offroad shop uses. I pull off my tires every oil change and torque check them though! Not the best photo, but you can see they are stocks.

What size spacer are you using.. ? So the answer is that yes I can still use the factory 18" wheels with the 4" lift kit as long as I have wheel spacers?

Yes it will. They will help clear 12.5" wide tires which is the most popular width and clear at least one 13.5" wide.

Would you have any idea what size spacer I would need?

Yep 1.5". The Sypdertrax only come in that width and they give you a little more space than the 1.25". You can also go with the Rugged Ridge. They seem to have the same specs as the blue ones. As do the ones from Alloy USA. Heat treatment can make a big difference.
