Backspacing

Rolling a 2014 JK and was going to do the 2.5 inch BB by Teraflex and slap on some 35x12.5 tires. My question is that since I'm putting a small lift, does the backspacing matter anymore? I've read that if i went with 33's i could do it without a lift but needed 4.5" or less backspacking. Does the backspacing rule of 4.5" or less still apply with a short lift installed?

Required backspacing only relates to the width of the tire.

I have a question as well. I just ordered the Pro Comp 1069 wheels with 4.75" back spacing. I want to run 33x12.5x17 in a 2010 Rubicon with a Terraflex leveling kit? Will these wheels work, or should I try and cancel them?

you will need wheel spacers if you're using your stock wheels...

This will help you to understand Back Spacing......

For 33s, or 35s, a 4.5 BS will give you the clearance, that you need....

I am running that wheel with 17-35x12.5 tires on a 2013 JKUR. The lift is irrelavent to the wheel question, but I am running a 3.5 inch lift. No problems mon...
