Bilstein Shock Install on JK - Is this correct?

Just had a set of 4 Bilstein 5100s put on my '10 Rubicon. Product #24-146708 & #24-146715. The rear set was installed what I feel is upside down. The shop owner said that's the only way they would fit, and he's seen rear shocks mounted this way. The ride is great. Just wondering??? See photos below... 3 of rear install and one of front.

I have a AEV lift with Bilstein shocks. Your rear shocks are installed correctly.

Normal, BUT make sure your lift isn’t allowing flex all the way to the shock’s maximum extension in the rear. Bilstein’s recommended shocks can be too short in the rear, especially if you have a lift with lots of flex. If you do, look into straps to limit travel.
I destroyed mine that way, now I run Falcons.

That's how mine are in my AEV lift kit, and on every AEV I've seen. I haven't seen them mounted any other way, even other brands?

Except the Falcons, which are designed the other way around. Nut the Bilstein mount like the OEM shocks.
