Blown injectors, pumps & Turbo

If anyone has an idea how all the injectors, the high-pressure pump and the turbo could all fail simultaneously, I'd be grateful to listen to advice. History of the last couple of weeks is this: the vehicle began to judder when idling or at very low speed, then it refused to start altogether. Jeep dealership in Johannesburg, South Africa, said it had blown oil back into the turbo. When they attempted to start it, it backfired loudly, then started but poured white smoke through the exhaust/tail pipe. They thought this was dirty fuel, as it smelled of diesel. Few days later, they said it was ready, so I collected it and it was running fine, no smoke. Ten days later, the juddering returned, so I sent it back to the dealership/agent again on the back of a flatbed. This time, apparently, and on a more detailed inspection, they tell me the injectors, diesel pump(s) and turbo are shot to hell.
Their (Chrysler Jeep) quote comes to the equivalent to $14,865 when converted to dollars - to make it easier for you guys.
Bosch Diesel quote comes to $4,386 - excluding the turbo which I use costs in the region of $600.
Vehicle travels about 1,500/month on a mixture of freeway, potholed tar and dirt roads across several southern African countries.
I bought it four years ago and it has yet to use a drop of water or need an oil top up between services. Though fitted with a high snorkel, the last service revealed a huge (mechanic's description) amount of dust in the air filter.
It has never broken down until now - and with a vengeance.
2010 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited CRD 2.8 with 175,000 KM (109,000 miles) on the clock. Many thanks in advance. PS If I'm late in replying, apologies in advance, but I spend a lot of time on the road. I am nonetheless hugely grateful for any and all opinions.
