bluetooth skips part of song??

Has anyone had this happen??? While I'm streaming my music from my iPhone 5, it will skip (or maybe even speed up) the song.....sounds like when I used to bump the turntable! (for those of you old enough to experience that lol!). Its just a brief moment but enough that I notice it.

Is it just the fact that its streaming wirelessly and its a data transfer issue or do you think something is wrong with my 430u? My phone streams fine with my bluetooth Bose speaker.....

I've had this same issue, occasionally skips and sometimes even switches to FM radio all by itself. Not sure if there's a fix.

I found that mine loses BT connection and I have to remind it by pushing the phone button. After that it'll work well for the rest of the drive

I had the same issue with another issue that I think it was unique.. the song would play in a different speed... slower most of the time... and skip often... and all I need to do is hit the Rewind button (from the left control under the steering wheel, the down button).. and it goes back to normal... correct speed and no more skipping.

There is some obvious integration issues with USB and BT devices. I have my Ipad plugged into the USB port in the arm rest. On the Nav my ipad shows up under "AUX" option along with my cellphones connected through BT.

I'd be listing to my Ipad and it would suddenly switch to radio and the "AUX" options grays out. I press on "radio" let it sit on it for about 1 min then press "Media" again. Suddenly my Ipad is back and everything is fine for the rest of the ride. Sometimes i would get 3 or 4 consecutive disconnects. Sometimes it doesnt work at all until i take the key out. Never had an issue streaming music from my phone through BT.

I think what ever the fix is would solve both of the issues.

Mine does the skipping too. So quick you'd almost think it never happened but it's doing it pretty often. Once or twice per song. The whole head unit is clunky. Takes forever for the unit to recognize my phone, one day I couldn't use the steering wheel controls to skip back a song. I could go to the beginning of the one I was listening to but not back to the previous one. Only that one day though. I'm getting a new HU. That's the fix.

What do you all have? I've got the 130.

Mine will skip every so often, but not enough to be a problem. I have a iPhone 4S and occasionally when making a Bluetooth phone call through the radio, a song from my playlist will start randomly playing in the background. Confused the hell out of my insurance company the other day when I called and Rammstein started playing :P

I've got the 130 and have had all the issues you talk about. The steerinf wheel controls are damn near worthless with BT. Mine will take 2 full minutes to switch a song if I tell it to. Even worse...it takes longer to switch songs when plugged in...WTH

Wow! At least I'm not alone on the issue - looks like I may have to deal with it

Did you ever find a solution? I just bought my Jeep about two months ago and I am having the same problem

FCA customer care told me to use the AUX input and check back every so often to see if they have an update.

Ultimately, the solution is to replace it with an aftermarket unit that works.
