Can't figure out Solenoid Winch

I got this Solenoid but can't figure out what wiring goes where. It's missing the connector for the remote input plug and has these wire's I circled coming out. I apologize for my mess, baby is asleep and I can't really move too much around. Thanks

The one lone red wire should be the power feed for the remote. The other three are a ground and the in and outs. If power from the red wire is applied to either the in terminal or the out terminal the winch will run in or out. Unfortunately I don't remember which one is in and which is out on my winch. But how I figured it out was with a simple multi-meter and the remote. I operated the remote and used the multi-meter to see which wires were connecting to the power wire when I triggered the in or out on the remote. The wire that does not ever connect to the others is the ground. I assume it is there for safety.

I feel like a fool. The title literally said it was for a winch.

To add to what I said earlier.
If you figure out which is ground and set that aside you can wire up the other two and the worst that will happen if you get them backwards is the winch will run out when you tell it to run in and vice versa. Then just swap them.
Also, on mine the one terminal that was ground had a second wire already landed on it that went over to where the ground wire from the battery landed.

Great I appreciate your help. I honestly am bad with wiring so now I have to get a plug that will work for it and also a controller. Any idea which I can get that won't break the bank? I'll try to figure it out in the meantime you've helped me alot already, thanks again.

What brand winch?
You can buy a Quadratec remote for $20 and the socket it plugs into is only $7.

Thanks, I have a Barricade 12000lb Synthetic Winch and apparently Bull dog remotes are a direct fit(coming from ExtremeTerrain). I don't have the the plug for the Remote to plug into but I ordered a wireless winch that i'll install tomorrow. If it doesn't work I lost $20 but i'll order a Bulldog remote and plug for around $30 which isn't too bad.

Thanks guy's
