cooling fan control circuit open PO480

Hey Everyone.
Just dropped a dual battery setup in my 13 and now im getting code PO480 Cooling Fan Control Circuit open. Ive pulled fuses, checked connections, but im at a loss. I tried to jump power right to the fan to see if it would spin, it didn't BUT I know there is the 3rd wire there, im not sure if that's a sensor or a control, im assuming control so I don't want to dump power down there.
Im assuming its a loose connection at the TIPM but there are only 1000 wires there, im not sure which im looking for.
Thoughts? Anyone run in to this before?
thanks
tim

The fan is dual speed. One wire is ground. One for low speed and one for high speed. I don't know which is which though.

Thanks WillyD
After much cursing I finally found a wire diagram and I figured it out. There is a black wire that is the HOT side of the fan and not the ground, it doesn't route though the relays over by the breaks like I thought. Stupid me but why the bleep is a hot wire black on one side and red on another.... sigh.
In looking for the wire diagram I also found this with a lot of details (though a bit rambling) hope it helps someone else https://realjenius.com/2018/06/28/pe..._radiator_fan/
