Cut Fenders - Anyone leave a bit of the down turned edge?

I have enough lift, so I'm not trimming fenders for clearance. I just like the look. However, I was wondering if anyone has left a little bit of the down turned edge and what it looks like. I'm thinking about leaving 1/4" of the down turned edge in tact.

In other words, if your cut line was on the vertical portion of the fenders instead of the horizontal portion, please post a pic.

The only pic I've found via the search engine left the side light in place, and that's not what I plan to do.

Yes, some guy did it, one of the slickest looking cuts I've seen. Old thread but it was around here recently

I did it on mine. I am very happy with the results. For me it's perfect, no cost, looks great and will rip off if it gets caught on something as it's designed to do (cheap to replace). I'm trying to attach pics but I may need to do that from my laptop later.

If you look at my build thread that's how I cut mine I think you can see them in a few pictures.
The thread you are looking for is called red's fender cut I believe.. Its on jko or that other joke of a place wol.
I'll see if I can find it
Edit
Page 2 of my build you can see my fenders. It leaves a lot more structural integrity that way. And I like the stock width.

Also google reds fender trim DETAILED write up and video included on jko

Few tips, nice big file will go a long way getting the cuts nice and smooth, or a low speed rotary sander... Dont do like me with a cheapie 1 speed HF sander and start spewing molten plastic all over your arms and face hehe
