Dana 30/44 gears lockers

I have a 14 jk polar edition. It has 2.5" Rock krawler lift with 35s. It has a front Dana 30 & rear Dana 44 with limited slip. I'd like to upgrade gears & get lockers for front & rear. Not a daily driver but I don trailer it either. I do moderate wheeling. Question is what size gears should I upgrade to from the 3.21 I have now. Secondly which is the best selectable lockers for the money. I appreciate everyone's input.

4.56 or 4.88
Eaton ELocker or ARB Air Locker
I'm choosing 4.88 and ARB for my '15 JKUR with RK 3.5 and 37's

ARBs are tried and proven for us. Also, for the Pentastar engine, 4.88s are great for 37s, and I would do 4.56 for 35s. But if your in there, ya might as well do 4.88 to run 37s later?

I appreciate the info. I prefer the eaton e lockers with electronic over air. My biggest concern is what do I else do I need to upgrade on the Dana 30 when I add gears & locker. I do not plan on 37s due to I'm at maximum height to fit in my garage now. I know off roading is wear & tear on vehicle but don't want something to break right away on the Dana 30 being weaker.

As long as you aren't into jumping or hammering the gas pedal excessively, I would gear it and go have fun. Beefing the housing is also a good idea, as well as adding chromo/RCV shafts at some point.

Plus, then you will have a valuable axle to sell to somebody *when you get a bigger garage and go larger tire size.

I went with 5.13 on my 6 speed pentastar and I like it but it might be too much for some. About 3k at 65mph. Went with an ARB locker out back and left the front open. Was advised not to lock the front dana 30 especially with 5.13 gears.

I'm almost thinking to buy a rubicon front Dana 44 with lockers and 4.10 gears. Leaving my rear Dana 44 with limited slip & just upgrade to 4.10 gears. Or would I be better off adding the locker to the rear and getting rid of the limited slip? Why do you advise not locking a Dana 30 if I go that route?

Yes on the rear locker. Most of the driving force is from the rear axle. Even when on difficult trails, a lot of people with front selectables leave them unlocked until needed. This gives you better/more free steering.

Im in your same predicament I have already ordered a G2 axle DANA 44 spline 35 for the front and am regearing to 4.56 for 35's and installing ARB lockers front and back and I am stoked about my jeep finally getting it done right......I was going to leave the DANA 30 in there but decided to go all out.
