I have searched but did not find any thread regarding this item. If someone has spoken about it before please forgive me.
You can replace your actual speedometer dashboard by a full digital (screen) one, looking a little like the JL one. The company is named CAROBOTOR. http://www.carobotor.ca (on maintenance until September 28...)
It is programmable in miles/hour or kilometers/hour, and tires in bar or psi.
This installation seems to be plug&play.
Finally, the cost is around $1200, which is a little expensive, but this product seems rather unique... for the moment. I think it gives a much modern look to the original JK dashboard.
Wow that would make me car sick with that funky steering wheel and all. Too much going on for me personally but every one has different tastes I’m sure some will love it.
I'd be happy if I could just turn on my instrument back lighting separately from the headlights. They sit in that shaded tunnel and in certain lighting conditions, at certain times of the day, and with my sunglasses on...I can't see the gauges at all. I'm forced to turn on my headlights just to see my instruments.
It's not a big thing. I just turn on the headlights. ... but on most cars I've had, the instrument cluster lights were controlled separately.
What you posted looks nice, but with the imminent purchase of tires and wheels looming, the cost of entry for that instrument upgrade is a "no go".
I few months ago I spent a long time pondering that gauge cluster, but I couldn't find anybody who has one to ask what they thought long-term. And sending $1200 to some Chinese company working out of Canada didn't give me a warm-fuzzy either.
There's a good install video out there on YT by an Australian guy, looks super easy.
Just checked it out. All the product descriptions are in Chinese. All reviews are in poor English and use stock photos. The website isn't even secure.
I'll believe this is real when a local Jeep shop actually has them in stock. Everything screams scam. Or at the very least a very cheap product I wouldn't trust in my Jeep.
They make the same thing for several other trucks, I ran across the others when I was searching for the manufacturer. It looked like all the others were only sold in SE Asia.
I've had mixed success with Chinese electronics in the occasionally insanely cold weather up here in northern Ontario. I'd want to see reviews from northerners and a price drop before I'd consider this.
I like the concept. I don't like the background pic. I don't like the price. Lower the price and make it look like a classic gauges - Oh wait the JK already has gauges. I miss oil pressure and amps. though.
Theres a guy on facebook named Matt that sells the carbon fiber steering wheels and digital dash clusters. Hes had the dash cluster it seems like few months now and hasnt mentioned any problems. I like the carbon fiber steering wheels but dont have one yet, tge dash clusters seem nice but I dont like how the companys name flashes across screen at startup
$1200... yeah, will it fold my laundry too?
Nice, maybe a bit too nice...
You'd think at that price they'd hire a better interpreter for their website
Its all about the little details people

Like @Lemotan, I too rather prefer a traditional analog gauge configuration. So I think I rather continue to enjoy the orignal cluster, while not spending $1200.
i've always hated the cheap chrome bezel rings on the gauges we have, gauges could have been designed much nicer and not so plastic cheap looking..... hate'm
I kinda like the digital dash but 1200 seems like allot for it
