"Door" annunciator on dash

Hey guys, a weird problem started the other day.

After starting my jeep (2014 jk), i jumped out to grab something, jumped back in.... And the "Door" open annunciator didnt go out after shutting the door! The dome lights went out as usual, but the word "door" was still being displayed under the gear selector display!

I slammed both doors... It was still displayed. The only fix was to turn the jeep off and restart, also happens with the passenger door. Doesnt happen with the tailgate.

Anyone else have this problem? I still have warranty, so its going in, but just wanted an idea of how big a pain it will be to fix this....

Same thing happened to me about 3 months ago. Restart did not remedy the problem but it cleared itself later in the day. Still don't know what that was about. It does not help either of us, but you are not alone. So far the problem has not returned. I would be curious what, if anything, you learn at the dealer when they hook up the OBD.

Update: Dealer did NOTHING!

They unhooked the battery, and thats it. This fixed it, but im still concerned it will happen again.

Wait, they fixed it right? And you're concerned it will happen again, even though you know exactly what the dealer did to fix the problem?

Well, it's doing it again. I knew simply disconnecting the battery was a questionable "solution"... Back to the stealership i go. Ill keep you updated.
