Electric motor sound when I open door...

As the title states when I open the door (either side, drivers or passenger) on my jk I hear an electric motor sound. Sounds like the CD player maybe?

It's a 2 door 2007 JK X Model, 53,000 miles. I believe it's the cheapest model stereo, just simple single disc cd, an aux input, nothing fancy. Probably doesn't matter but it has factory half doors. This is my first jeep (first Chrysler product, period) and I've only had it since September, so not too familiar with all the quirks yet. I did a few advance searches with a few different keywords with no luck. It doesn't seem to hurt anything, but the only problems I've had with it so far have been electrical. This is my first post, been lurking for a while, so go easy on me lol.

I've got the same sounds. I suspect it's vent doors closing.

It's the door over the in cabin air filter. It's behind the glove box.

Happy to help.

You're far from the first person to wonder what that sound is, myself included.

Things you didn't mention. Is the Engine running. Is the Stereo on. Is the sound coming from the speakers. ?? Are you listening to music. Is it CD or Reception.
I've noticed that using long cords plugged into the Jeep Power Jacks to power IPODs will cause engine hum to be heard in the speakers.
