Electronic Sway Bar Mod - Anyone Try This?

I ran across this video on Youtube about modifying the Rubicon electronic sway bar by removing the electronics from the motor housing. This mod essentially converts the sway bar to manual electric control vs a completely manual control setup that costs from around $90 for EVO's solution to JKS cable solution at over $200. The video never shows the completed project.

I love the idea of cockpit control and I'm frugal so...

If I execute this mod on my JK, the computer electronic hacks are covered by my TrailDash I believe, and a simple control circuit and switch arrangement would be fairly easy to build. I must be overlooking something?

Anyone done this?
