New/Used Purchase?

Warranty Coverage?

Most engine knocks if coming from deep in the engine are usually rod bearings on the crankshaft. If you are lucky and catch it early, you might get by with just new bearings, but you shouldn't be driving it.

If you had the rear main seal replaced, did you tell them that it ran out of oil?

Whatís the oil pressure when itís knocking. If the knock goes away that quick, could be a bad pump. But if you ran the engine dry, chances are you ruined a few bearings.
