Engine light on and idles rough

I have a 2009 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. Engine light came on then battery died. Alternator was bad. Switched out alternator and erased the code. Engine kight cane back on and is idling rough and poir gas mileage. Used Lucas injector treatment byt no better. The sprayed throttle body with carb cleaner still no better. Scanned and got a P0300 code.Random Multiple Misfire. Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a coil pack is going out.

The carb cleaner might have fouled the plugs too. Might want to pull them and check.

How many miles on it? It might be time for plugs, and possibly a coil pack.

95k miles. Is it more likely to be the plugs and coil pack and plugs? Or more likely an issue with the EGR or PVC valve or even an O2 sensor? I am at a loss.

I'm kinda having the same issue. At first the engine wasn't turning over so i thought it was the battery and i needed a jump but all electronics in the car were running. The my radio dies. I'm actually sitting in my jeep and it just turned off. Engine light came on prior to doing so. I'm at 77K. Any ideas?

Just did the old cycle the key trick and received a P0300 and a P0302 code. Does this help figuring out what the problem is?

When the battery goes dead, then the caused would have been related to bad connection between the alternator and battery.
So, I would, and from personal experience, highly recommend that you check all connection going to the battery at both ends, Negative ends and Positive ends. As Wrangler's battery has 2 negative cables and 3 Positive cables.
Bad connection, be it Negative end or Positive end, will put a huge load on the alternator and finally kill it.

Wranglers are very sensitive to any loss of electric power, from battery or from Alternator. Good luck
