Thumbs up FIX for flashing security light!

Anybody else experience this? Security light above temp gauge starts flashing intermittently for no reason while driving? Recently happened on our 2015 (only 2 months old)!

Took it to the dealer and they found the problem: faulty/intermittent problem with the electronic module that controls the factory ALARM/security system. They replaced the MODULE & the problem seems to be resolved!

Seems others have had this similar problem & have had no luck finding the culprit? So I thought I'd post this in order to possibly help anyone else whe experiences this problem!

NOTE: Take BOTH sets of keys with you!!! As they will need to reprogram them to the new module.

Good Luck fellow Jeepers!

Thanks. This just started happening on my 2014 with almost 30K miles. Guess I'll be making an appointment soon!

I had to get a new key for this. My Jeep actually failed to start a couple times until I had it fixed. New key will fix you up.

Brought it to my dealer and they read a B1A25 Invalid Key Code. Said there was a software/flash update to fix it and they performed the fix. Will see if it helps. Only happened twice in about a month. 6K miles left on my warranty.

Coincidentally, a couple days after I made the appointment (but before I brought the Jeep in) my Check Engine light came on! They said it was a P0520 Oil Pressure Circuit but also noticed my oil cooler leaking, so replaced the whole oil cooler.

Ouch! Surprised to see that on my 2014.
