Question Front Signal issue

HI all, I have a 2011 JK. Just yesterday i started getting a fast blink on the passenge side. Noticed the passenger front signal is the culprit. The front signal is doing some wacky stuff, does not blink, does not light up with parking lights, but it will blink when i press the lock/unlock on key(but it is very dim when it blinks)will blink with hazards, but dimly. All other lights on jeep function properly. I also noticed the fender parking light was very dim as well, but I just went out to go to the store 30mins ago and now fender light is bright like it should be, but no change with front signal light.

Front Signal issue

Did you try changing the signal light bulb. There are two separate filaments in that bulb. One may be burnt out.

I am trying to avoid taking it to the dealer, but it looks like i may have to. as it will not pass inspection and I am in need of a new sticker....I have been researching this problem and reading a lot of forums with people having similar issues, taking it to the dealer and having to replace a 1,000 dollar ECU or some craziness....I am handy with a wrench, do all my work on my jeep myself, but electrical issues scare me, heh.

I wonder if its a bad ground. If you unplug the signal light socket and then turn the lights on. if the fender marker light works properly then it could be the socket.

I just had a similar issue on mine on the passenger side. It turned out to be a bad connection on the plug itself. If I held it tightly together, the issue cleared up. I had to get a new plug and weather pack wiring from the dealership (~$50). I've seen the same thing on Amazon for around $35. No issues since. Search for part number 68065016AB
