Gears and Locker Question

My next project is doing the Gears. I was wondering I know its better to do gears and locker at the same time but funds are permitting so I'd rather do the gears first, so my question is after the gears are in how long would it take to put in the rear E-Locker in only. Im having a shop do the install just wanted to get the heads up on how long the labor hours are?

Well I would guess about 3 hr depending on how many techs work on it. And no un foreseen probs.

Expect to pay about the same amount for Locker install as you pay to have the gears installed, which is why it makes sense to do everything at once.

If it were me, I would keep saving up the cash until I had enough to do both at one time, rather than pay for same labor twice. Once the carrier is pulled and the gears put onto the locker, the gears have to be set up again, just like new install of gears. And if a bearing gets trashed switching over..... New install kit also. Do it once and do it right.

This.

It's a good idea to wait until funds permit rather than doing gears first and then saving up for lockers later. You're going to throw away hundreds of dollars doing it twice.

Wait. Save money. Do all the work at once.
