Good rim/tire combos

does anyone have any suggestions about what type of tires or rims to run? I want 35s but need some suggestions about what type and rim size

Don't buy 35x13.50x20 Fuel Mud Grippers. Most of mine have been out of round and sucks to pay for the dismount to send them back just to pay to have the new ones mounted. Same goes for Fuel Hostage 20x10 with 4.5" backspacing (bent). BUT HEY! I will sell you mine. They're great........I swear. (not)

Stay with a 17 inch, 8-9 wide wheel max. I have KM2's and happy with them, but lots of choices in tires.

You need to narrow down the choices by providing more details, otherwise posts will be all over the map and none of them may satisfy you.

Budget?
AT or MT?
Fuel economy important?
Traction off road most important?
etc,etc,etc

I have had a lot of luck with a 17x9" wheel, ET-12 (~4.5" backspacing) and 315/70-17 Goodyear Wrangler DuraTracs. The wheels I have are Mamba M13s. I'd link you to them, but the Tire Rack website is down temporarily.

I happen to be a fan of big tires on small rims. So I run 35" MTR's on 15x9 procomp steelies.

Tires were about $100 cheaper EACH, and lots of sidewall to ride on
