Hardtop fitment

I have a 2012 Rubicon. I want to buy a hardtop. I have done a search on what year hardtops will fit . Do I need a 2012 or newer , or will a 2008 top fit?

Another small point.. For 2007-2010 the rear hatch glass was same width as the rear gate. For 2011 on, the glass was wider than the gate. (About an inch wider on each side).

But the the tops are still are interchangeable.

07 and 08 the footman loop is moved. The center latch on these does not use the loop. They latch behind it.
