heat not blowing when at a stop?

Hi, have any of you had an issue with your HVAC like this: Once your Jeep is warmed up, the heat only blows warm/hot when moving or revving the engine. at a stop the temp drops from the vents. the car does not overheat, the temp gauge stays perfect in the center and it warms up to operating temp in the normal amount of time. I have the auto climate control feature. Also, the heat does not seem to change temp in the higher 40% when adjusting knob....Thoughts? coolant level is perfect, heater core and radiator flow are normal.

Thanks-

Ethan

Took my jeep in for this last year. Replaced heater core and radiator. All was well. Now this year it happened again. Same symptoms you described. Required the replacement of the rad, water pump, oil cooler, heater core, basically anything that touches coolant got replaced. Take it in ASAP.
