Help Please

I have a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited. My jeep sputters and has hard shifts/jerks upon accelerating, it has also been stalling upon sitting or first starting it. Not sure what needs to be replaced and I don't want to go to a shop and be ripped off because I am a woman. Can anyone help me to what may be causing this problem?

It could be lots of things.

A good starting point is to take it to a local auto parts store, like O'Reilly, and have them read any error codes that the Jeep has stored. It's a free service. This can give you an idea of what's wrong.

to the forum. @MoabCarl is spot on. Pull codes if any first is the first place to start with your diagnostics, even if there is no check engine light.
