High Beam

So I just wired up ipf lights and I read that on the driver side headlight the white and blue wire is the high beam. So I put the electro tap on that wire and the ipf come on with low beams. I'm assuming I need to move it the white and green wire? This was my first time wiring anything so I would appreciate any help. Thanks!

From the illustrations on the Quadratec website for the ARB IPF headlight conversion kit, it comes with an H13 to H4 conversion dongle that is simply plug and play. No separate wiring should be necessary.

If I am not looking at the right item, could you provide a link to the lights you purchased.

They send an electro tap that is supposed to hook to the high beam so when the high beams are turned on it turns on the ipf lights

I would use one of these to determine the high beam lead.

While Amazon has several, NAPA is price competitive and you can probably pick one up faster there if you don't already have one. Simply hook to a ground, turn on your high beams and poke the probe on the wire you suspect is the high beam lead.

Of course back in the day when I had a pair of Lucas Flamethrowers mounted in the grille of my TR-4A, I had them wired directly through a switch so I could turn them on regardless of lights on or off, high beam or low beams.

I solved it today. I ended up tapping into the white and green wire and they now turn on with high beams.
