Let me start out by thanking tab22092 for doing the install with me. He really knows his stuff and I can't thank him enough. Started at 10:30 am and finished around 6:30 pm with a small lunch break in the middle.

We started on the front first. Took out the old springs (18's) and installed the RK 1.5" springs. Took off the sway bar links, Rubicon shocks, and installed the Rancho control arms drop brackets. We also changed out the front TB bolts with upgraded hardware. Installed Rancho 9000XL's (29's) also.

Then we did the rear. Put in the RK springs (60's off), Rancho shocks (30's), and JKS adjustable rear sway bar links. They had to be cut and turned out perfect. We then put the stock rear sway bar links up front. After the tires went back on, we loosened the TB and CA bolts. Then we shook the Jeep and retorqued everything as needed.

Measuring the front spring perch showed 12 1/2". The shock measurement was 21 1/4" (stock is 18 1/2"). The front lift came out at 2 3/4" and the rear came in at 2 1/2". The Jeep looks level and I expect a small amount of settling. A good amount of lift considering I have aftermarket front and rear bumpers.

Very happy with the way the Jeep looks and the ride we went on after install. May need to center the steering wheel slightly. We had the Ranchos set on 3 front and rear and changed them to 5 all around after. It felt kind of soft and swayed a bit on 3. Probably going to get an alignment. Definitely will have to adjust my Trucklites.

Looks really nice. Congrats.

Not as harsh. Much more comfortable without feeling too light or soft. Great road feel. Very happy so far.

I asked kjeeper for my purposes (DD only) if anything else like what you mentioned was necessary. He said if it handles fine, leave it.

Relatively vertical.

Here is the alignment sheet from this morning. No idea why it says what it does at the top regarding vehicle type. They had to torch the bolts/nuts on the drag link to get it to release when centering the steering wheel. Maybe from the undercoating?

Alignment numbers look good. Caster stock i think is 4.2 so thats pretty good in my book. And yea probably was that undercoating. Damn bolt killer stuff hahahaha

Stock is 4.7 so pretty darn close.

I'm in good company then. If you're happy, :iamhappy:

Stock bumpstops. DD and no off roading so I didn't add bump stops or flex it out.

Rear toe & thrust angle are off due to uncorrected rear axle shift after lift.
Due to the 'fixed' length of stock track bars, going up without correction causes unsprung weight to shift.

btw-the mechanical term is 'dog tracking', not crab walking.. :happyyes:

Putting on a TF rear TB bracket next week Teraflex 1954776 - TeraFlex Rear Trackbar Bracket for 07-14 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK with 2.5" Lift - Quadratec to restore proper roll center and center the axle.

Maybe on the east coast it is... lol

And yes excessive toe in on one side and minor toe out on the other is correctable by axle position.
