Installing lights

Already read the directions for my lights. My only question is my buttons I have is the Daystar switch panel, each button has a ground, input and output but my lights have just two wires to connect. I have them plugged into the input and output, there's no need for me to ground it right?

The input (positive in) conects to the output (positive out)by togeling the switch, the ground on the switch is only for the led light in the switch. I like to use relays to power lights and use your daystar switch to trigger the relay

I have the relay already. It came with my pro comp lights. So you're saying if I had the wires plugged vice versa to what you said the lights wouldn't work?

Is the blue wire and white wire have to be in a specific place?
