JK 2007 X electrical problem

Hey guys, my 2007 Wrangler was working perfectly fine about 2 days ago and now it seems to be malfunctioning somewhere. I didn't here it, but a few of my family members claimed to have heard my jeep going bonkers around 8 in the morning after Christmas.

Heres a list of all the problems: Instrument panel will not power, turn signals will not work, wipers do not function, headlights will not turn on via the knob, high beam doesn't work, no illumination anywhere inside the cabin except for radio, dome lights won't power, horn will not sound when depressed.

All these problems occurred at the same time.

As you can see, there is either a major problem that will need a new part or something as simple as reseting. The car starts normally and drives normally.

Thing(s) I did to try and fix it before coming here: Checked every fuse for noticeable electrical burns/smells. They were all fine to the eye. Disconnected/reconnected my radio.

I booked an appointment at a local dealer, but I don't want to accept defeat! Please, any help of any kind would be amazing.

get a volt meter and check the battery (should be at 12.7V off and 14.4V when on)

- check the battery terminals are tight and not corroded. you will need a 10mm wrench and sand paper

Worst case scenario it could be your Totally Integrated Power Module (circuit board under the fuses) is fried.

Was it something like this? Thousands of JK owners have the dreaded possessed jeep issue related to the tipm.....

When you have a lot of systems that aren't normally connected go to hell at the same time it's normally either a bad ground or as eton mentioned above a bad TIPM. I think it's a great idea to make sure things aren't wigging out due to low voltage from the battery, however if the Jeep starts and runs fine I would suspect your issue is elsewhere.

Just from the way you described it happening when the Jeep was off and sitting still I would personally suspect you're looking at the TIPM.
