Jk lug nuts

I just bought a 2013 JKUR AEV
On past Chrysler products I've owned (including a YJ) the lug nuts had a thin metal (shiny aluminum?) sheath. On 2 of my vehicles and one company vehicle I got stranded when changing a flat and the thin metal piece twisted off the (way too tight) lug nut(s) then the lug wrench no longer fit the now, smaller lug nut.
In looking at my JK lug nuts it seems they could have the cheap metal sheath. I really don't want this kind of lug nuts on my Jeep
Do the JK's have lug nuts with thin metal sheaths? If so, do you know a good source for good lug nuts at a good price?

Yes they have a chrome cap over the steel nut. You can buy one piece lug nuts at any auto parts store.

I bought a set of one piece lug nuts off of Amazon. Well worth it.

YES, the stock lug nuts are HUGE pieces of sh!t.

This was yesterday while installing my lift. Cost me 30 minutes to get the bitch off....

I hadn't replaced since I knew I was going to put on wheels before too long...

I was afraid of that...... I'm disappointed they are still using these pos lug nuts after 20+ years
I just bought the McGard installation kit (that includes wheel locks and lug nuts for each wheel and spare) on Amazon (much cheaper than direct from McGard) and while I was at it, I bought the McGard door locks

I changed my rear brakes recently and when I was taking the lugs nuts off, the lug wrench slipped and badly deformed the chrome sleeve on one of the lug nuts. I bought a new one from the dealer for $9! I can get an entire new set of solid lug nuts for $20.
