JK oil usage!

Here's one for you guys, as a mech. for 24 yrs I have never encountered an engine like the 3.8L. I have owned this jeep since new and it has always burned or lost oil some fricken where, now at 94,000 miles it has stopped. changed the oil 4 weeks ago wife drives daily checked every week twice a week since and it's still at the same spot since the last change. What The Hell!! I have lost my mind!!! Apparently

using 5W20 mobil 1, rings seated at 94,000 miles? I'm gonna find a take out motor and tear into that thing do a complete blueprint and build my own, Chet Herbert cams should be able to do a nice roller for it. Should be able to pull a livable 350 to 400 out of it, I hear alot of complaints on the bottom end but then they turn around and put 15 psi boost to an engine that runs 12:1 compression.

Does the manual specify a 95,000 mile break in period and nobody noticed because nobody ever reads the manual?

I just switched to 10w 30 synthetic blend. Hope it helps slow the usage.
