JK Power Mirror Control Switch

Using JK Power Mirrors and Mirror Control Switch (mounted in lower left of Sahara and Limited JK center dash) PN 56046631AA.

These are going in a 1951 Willys Station Wagon project and I need information on the following: (parts diagram at dealer not really clear)

1. Is the switch directly connected to main under dash wiring harness?
2. If #1 is no, is the connection accomplished by the console wiring harness?
3. What I really need is a 'pigtail' to connect into the wiring harness I am installing in the wagon.
4. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the mirror control switch? Would facilitate fabrication of 'pigtail'
5. Does anyone have the female connector? Switch side is male.

Answers and recommendations greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Jim Thompson

allready done something similar - installed heated and electric controlled mirrors from facelift Jk to my 08. Mirrors are wired to existing door connectors - there is exactly enough free terminals

As far as i know there is no connector for the switch available separately. Only repair pins. At the end i surced the pins pushed in with some heat shrink over each pin, stuffed some caulk inside and taped over. It is not nice but at least it s removable and it works . When i find an appropriate conncetor i will redo it
