leaking weatherstrip

thought top was leaking on 2014 jk but found that weatherstrip on door was leaking. anyone have this problem and is there affix other than replace weatherstrip?

I doubt even new weather strip will fix it... I just ran some cheap self-stick from the local Home Depot around the vehicle side on my '14. Works fine. Hopefully someone here knows a better fix.
