Let's play everyones favorite game: Name that torque spec.

So I installed a new pair of side steps on my JK.

However, these nuts continue to become loose and the rattling is driving me crazy. It's near the Isolator body mounting bracket. I'm going to use thread lock and torque them just can't find any specs on ChiltonDIY.

Anyone have the torque for the secondary nuts, not the bolt holding the frame in place.

Thanks everyone in advance!

Per the FSM, the nuts are 40 ft-lbs, but no threadlocker is specified, meaning that this is a 'dry' torque. Threadlocker is a lubricant, so it needs to be accounted for. A lower torque needs to be used with lubricated threads to get the same bolt preload as unlubricated threads.

FYI, the body bolts are 80 ft-lbs and the FSM stated to apply threadlocker.
