Lift kit installation

Getting ready for self installation of 2.5" AEV lift kit.

How high do I need to lift my tires off the ground so that I will know that my jeep is high enough to do the install?

what will I need to drive with stock 17" wheels. 225/70/17s I think?

Does anyone know where I can find videos or instructions for the install?
Just trying to prepare before kit gets delivered.

What all exactly did you need to buy besides the kit or did the kit have everything you needed to install?

The AEV 2.5" Dualsport kit includes Shocks, Springs(bilstein), rear trackbar and trackbar bracket, bumpstops, brake line extension brackets and extensions for the front sway bar links. I would recommend getting the geometry correction brackets to go with the kit. (not supplied in the kit)

You will reuse your stock front trackbar. Mine was off quite a bit on the axle side after installing the lift kit, so i used a ratchet strap to get it lined back up.
I would recommend getting some quick disconnects and skip installing the sway bar end link extensions supplied in the kit. I am going to eventually replace my front track bar with an adjustable as well at some point.
