lower switch bank no power

I discovered today none of the switches on the "lower switch bank" (that's what the manual calls it; it is the switch panel below the climate controls) on our 2018 JKU Rubicon are getting power. Those include the seat heat switches, hazard light switch, hill retard, etc. Looking at the manual it appears most of those systems are on separate fuses, so I'm not sure it is a fuse issue. A clue might be that a local dealership just replaced the radio, so it is possible they disturbed something back there.

Thanks for any help you might be able to provide.

Best,

Jim

I'm guessing that they unplugged the switch bank when they changed the radio and forgot to plug it back in when they put it back together.

Bring it back and have them fix it right and throw in a free oil change for the inconvenience.

Thanks for the quick reply! That was my thought too, although I don't think they would have to mess with anything that far below the radio. But who knows? I will call them this morning. And I like your idea about the compensation!

Depending on your radio, they may have been down there as the UConnect module is behind that panel.

I'll bet it just didn't get reconnected.

I had a similar thing happen to me as well.
Before you head to the dealer check fuse M20 to see if it's blown and replace it if it is.
It's a 15 Amp Blue

If that's not it, then head to the dealer, but as always if I can save you a trip it's worth a look.

Yep, that was it. Dealership fixed it quickly, and of course without charge.
