Mopar Fuel Door Screws

Hey gang. Tomorrow I will be picking up my JKU, as I have sold my 2010 JK.

A few years ago, my wife bought a mopar fuel door for mine, not realizing it was 4door specific.

I would like to now install it, but now am missing the 4 bolt and nuts that secure it to the body. Mopar does not sell these alone, and I have searched high and low for the size specs of the bolts.

I'll owe a beer to anyone who can help me out with this. Thanks!

The Mopar fuel door I bought & installed on my wifes 2014 2dr Sahara just snaps/clips onto the body, & is identical to the one that came standard on my 2014 4dr Rubicon..

Maybe the fuel door you have is not the correct application for a new(?) Jeep.. Can you provide pics?

It's just the standard Mopar JK accessory. The tabs are slightly different between the two version. I believe folks have forced them to work through slight modification of the backs.

Luckily this should fit the unlimited just fine, just need to source some screws.

The bolts are M5-20 x 12 mm. I did not like the polished ones that come standard with the door so I replaced with some black ones. They are not readily available in that short length ~ 1/2" but I noticed they match perfectly with the bolts on the water cage on my mountain bike.

Awesome, thank you! Isn't there a nut that goes on the back end to secure it?

The nuts are molded in the plastic cup, the door covers. I have 4 of those screws, send me a PM to where to send them and I'll mail them to you.

Nuts really aren't molded to the plastic. There is a groove (or mold) where they sit in, but they come out of that groove/mold freely given a little nudge.

If Rammer500 is not able to send them to you, PM me. I have like 2 spare fuel doors if I am not mistaken, so I have no problem sending you the nuts off one of them.

I broke one of these, anyone still have an extra laying around? I'd be forever grateful.
