Need winch plate help rubicon HARDROCK

Hi guys, thanks for letting me join f&f. I have a 17' rubicon hardrock and recently bought a badland 9000lb winch from harbor freight. Now I'm needing a winch plate. A: they all seem to be as expensive as the winch (for a metal plate&#x1f914 and B: I'm not sure if these things are vehicle specific, winch specific ....or both.
Can someone recommend one that would fit both and not cost $300.
Thanks in advance

For the Hardrock bumper, the winch plate is specific to that bumper. It is also specific to the type of winch (centered, offset, Warn Zeon). I believe that the Badland is a centered winch.

For the mounting plate, there are options by Mopar, Maximus 3, Rugged Ridge and JCR (maybe others). The Mopar kit is about $350. The others are in the $200-$250 range.

I had a similar situation with my 17 Recon. The front bumper weighs 96 lb with tow hooks and skid plate. I got a Rough Country hybrid stubby bumper

which mounts my Badlands 12k winch centered, clearing the vacuum motor, and weighing not over 20 lb. more than the stock bumper without winch or winch plate. It costs under $200.

I personally went with the Bulldog Winch plate for the 10th Anniversary bumper. I used a Smittybilt 10k synthetic winch and it all works great. For 180 it was the least expensive option I could find. I did NOT need to relocate my vacuum canister.

Thanks for the info guys! I'm considering returning the badland and getting a smittybuilt, I see they are also around $300
