new to site but quick question

hi guys first off im new to the jeep world and the site but looks amazing so far, no for my question i bought a 2012 4 door jeep wrecked had it fixed etc... rain started, and then i had a puddle in driver floor board. looked at door on the inside to see where or why it was leaking and sure enough i could follow the water trail on the inside of driver door just beside window on metal part, now my question is does anyone know the measurements of the gap all the way around door when the door is closed? i know it needs to be adjusted but i dont know what the gap dimension is 1/4"? any help here would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance

In the mean time, pull your drain plugs in the floor boards.

GL with the other part.

And if you can't get the gap correct, you can always take the doors and top off and run naked.

The seals are important. Make sure they're properly seated in the track. They're not glued/sealed in. Check for misalignment or holes/cuts in the seal.

Also if one seal has been pinched or even torn it will allow such a stream. The seals the self are not a huge expense so I would suggest on replacing those 1st. We had a similar issue and replacing the seals and a minor adjustment to the soft top cured our ills
