New version front door seals

I read the post below, and needing to replace the driver side door seal on my wife’s ‘16 so I went looking for the newest version of door seal, as mentioned in the quote.
I found an EBay seller for the driver side and one on Amazon for the passenger side that had the best prices. I figured I might as well replace both of mine too since I have had drops now and again.
The ‘16 has not dripped a bit as far as I can tell, but the drive side seal kept pulling loose at the bottom. Upon removal I could tell it had be “worked on” at some point as there was butyl on the leading edge where it should not be and the bottom was obviously stretched.
Regarding the new version seals:
The description below is accurate as to the added lip. I’m not sure about the added stuffers but the one on the top leading corner seems to extend down the front of the door just a bit further.
Got drips? Maybe look at the newer seals. They might help.

They added a new lip on the inside of the seal where the mirror is. From the looks of it its made to channel water back to the exterior instead of down the seal. Theres also different areas of stuffing inside the seals. They also do not pull out of the tracks nearly as easily as the old ones. I have a 17 2dr and had intermitant dribbles on both sides. Hoping these new seals take care of that.
