Oil Change

How many run full synthetic oil in their JK's? I have used it in other
vehicles as my mechanic swears it is better than standard oil? He has
a GMC Sierra with almost 400,000 miles that he switched to Synthetic right
after the warranty ran out.

Yep, Synthetic oil is approved to be used in our wrangler engines. Just make sure that the Brand of your choice, meets the Mil-spec and viscosity that is recommended in your owners manual.

I have used synthetic engine oil in my vehicles for many years. I have never had a engine oil related failure..
kik likes this.

I run synthetic oil in all of my vehicles. No oil related engine problems here either.

Been using Pennzoil Platinum since the first oil change then switched to Pennzoil Ultra Platinum about 3 oil changes ago, still change it at 3000 miles with an OEM filter. You can usually find it on sale for about the same cost as conventional, I buy it and keep enough for the next change.
