Poison Spyder front bumper skid vs. Currie Anti Rock

I am getting ready to order a Poison Spyder Brawler Lite front bumper for my 14 Rubicon. The plan eventually is to run the full Currie suspension(including the antirock obviously).

From what I gather the front bumper skid is generally used to protect the e-disco swaybar as well as the crash bar. I got no problems cutting the crash bar off and will most likely do it either way I go.

The front bumper skid is around $200. The Currie Antirock is around $400. So im half way to the currie by buying the bumper skid.

If all the skid does is protect the e-disco motor and crash bar of which I would most likely do away with both, does it make sense to buy it or just spend the extra and go to the anti-rock immediately?

Got my answer from Poison Spyder. They said they would most likely NOT run the lower skid with cutting the crash bar and running an anti-rock although the steering would be exposed. Said the approach angles would be much better.

I dont do much rock crawling in Missouri, mostly trail riding and mud so I am not all that worried about the steering. If I feel its a concern I can always add the skid later.
