Poison spyder rear bfh bumper

So I love the look of it, but is there no going back after installing it? I know you have to cut the frame, I already did that on my front but I'd like the option of getting a tire carrier open for the future. Also if I install this do I not have a tow hitch anymore? I might be towing in the future as well. Thanks!

Use a Teraflex tailgate hinge and tire carrier. You don't need a tire carrier bumper. Most are ginormous Rube Goldberg design winners that are too heavy and rattle too much anyway.

No going back. Unless you keep what you chop off and weld it back on.

Crawler Conceptz has an extremely similar rear bumper (ex employee of PSC), but with the addition of a hitch built in. Not tow rated, so take that for what its worth.

Savvy makes a LHT aluminum bumper that also requires cutting the rear cross member. But they include a new one where you can run the stock factory hitch. It's a little pricey, but the price is on par with a regular full size rear bumper (no tire carrier).

I also recommend the Teraflex carrier. You'll have to research whether your tire size on a TF carrier (or any other) will fit with whatever bumper you are considering. The Savvy, for one, does not have a tire cut out on the top of the bumper.

I think Savvy has a new steel bumper similar to the aluminum that is very high clearance also. I thought it said you didn't have to cut frame though? Not sure, but I saw a few pics and liked it a lot. I want something similar to those, but not sure if I want to start cutting on my frame.

If you go with a tire carrier bumper combo go with the ACE I put it on my 2014 and its quiet and solid I am very impressed. Plus it comes with a hitch that you can still tow the recommended weight ratings from the factory.

Good picture Chickeneye. It lets people compare a full size bumper with tire carrier ...

to a smaller bumper with a trimmed frame, and a Teraflex tire carrier.

Then, they can decide for themselves which they prefer.

Yup big difference. I saw a guy get rear ended by a mustang with the same similar bumper as mine totaled the mustang and just left white paint on his bumper

Also check out the evo rear fascia and the bolt on D-rings. With this setup you can keep your hitch receiver. Thats my plan eventually as I will be towing an offroad trailer.

BFH. TF carrier. 35's? Any side pics? Does the tire touch the bumper at all?
