Power, but won't start...infuriating!

Hi, 1st post here, but have been reading and searching for answers, so figured I'd post what I have and see what you guys think.
Backstory: 2008 Sahara 6spd. Went to install aftermarket radio, tried to tap into cigarette power. Didn't work, and the cigarette outlet didn't work either. Something popped when used tester on it for power. Checked all fuses, nothing blew though. Got frustrated and took everything out, and put back in factory radio.
Went to start, and now nothing happens. Have complete power, lights bright, no dimming/flicker. Even hooked it up to jump, still nothing.
Did the trick with taking out the fuse for security and keeping out for 30 seconds, still didn't work.
Took out starter, bought new and replaced...still nothing.
It doesn't even act like trying to turn over, just does nothing when I push in clutch and turn the key.
Had a mechanic friend say it may be something security wise that dealership has to reprogram since we were messing with the stereos. Any other things I should try before going down the dealership route?

I put in a Kenwood radio in my '08, had the battery out, and never had any issue like you are describing. There is a fuse bad somewhere, even though you didn't find it the first time

When your cigarette lighter has power again, perhaps the security interlock will be working again.

How exactly did you test this? What wire did you touch?

Have you checked fuse M6 and M36? That would be the fuses that control power outlet and the cigarette lighter. After looking at the wiring diagram, I don't think popping those fuses would cause a no crank. My worry is you fried something in the TIPM but it's hard to tell cause I don't know what wires you were messing with.

When I have a starting issue, I like to go test at the start relay. It helps give direction as to where the problem may arise. You can test the control side of the relay to see if the TIPM is commanding the starter, or you can jump it and get the start to turn over to see if starter is the problem. Make sure you know what you are doing here so you don't mess up a computer but it's the best way to break the starter system in pieces.
