Power lock for center console?

Yes, I know this falls under the category of #firstworldproblem, but I drive without doors all the time, and I'd really like to not have to bother with the manual locking/unlocking of the center console all the time, it'd be great if it locked with the power locks (along with my trunk). The main problem is that I keep my garage door opener in there and so I do need to lock it.

Is it possible to get a solenoid lock and have this work with the power locks in the Jeep?

Ian

I've never seen such a thing, nor have I ever heard of it being done. I don't think it would be possible just because of the location. You have very little room to get a solenoid and all the workings in there.

Have you looked into other options for hiding the door opener? If I had one, I would hide it in the a-pillar. There are holes in the factory plastic for bolt access and it fits in there really nice. Easily accessible, but out of sight.
