Problems with rough idle on 08 Jeep Wrangler unlimited x

Hello, new here and not sure if Iím posting this in the correct place but I desperately need help. Our Jeep, out of nowhere started idling really hard and put out P0305, and P0205 codes. I replaced spark plugs, and #5 injector but the codes and problems are still there. Everything is putting out the right voltage. Whatís weird is it ran ok for a couple of hours after I worked on it. I am by no means a mechanic so Iím stuck. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

2 things come to mind:

- The problem is an intermittent wiring problem

and/or

- You didn't test the voltages correctly

There are 2 wires at the injector. One being a voltage supply, the other is a control wire from PCM that pulses the injector. The control wire should not be showing a steady voltage when engine is running. It should pulsate from battery voltage, to 0V, then to 60V+ as the injector fires, then back down to battery voltage, repeat the cycle. So if you see a constant voltage on that wire, you definitely have a problem.

This seems to be a wiring problem to me, so try and do a visual inspection of the wires. It is possible the wires have melted near a high heat point, or are partially broken near a bending point. Look for anything obvious. If you don't see anything, then test the wires for shorts and opens.
